Lorren Rhea - Owner
Rocks N Knots, the name of her jewelry line, was an idea that emerged five years ago when Lorren Rhea began making jewelry in her home in the Garden District. Lorren was teaching 5th grade at an Episcopal school at the time, and thoughts of opening a store had not surfaced. Feeding her artistic appetite, only increased the desire to express herself more and more. After much thought, Lorren eventually took the leap and opened her boutique, Rocks N Knots, which is now located in Towne Center.
What separates Lorren and Rocks N Knots from the rest of the many women’s apparel stores in Baton Rouge, is her desire to help her customers look good. It is not unusual for Lorren to tell a shopper that an article of clothing is not flattering, and she is more than willing to steer clients to other lines, sizes, or even to other stores in Towne Center.
Her talent or gift is imagining combinations of colors and fabrics that most would never consider. Lorren’s mother always had a sense of what would and would not work when designing, decorating, or accessorizing. Lorren sees those same unusual patterns that make her jewelry so different and her fashion advice so bold.
Rocks N Knots is filled with dresses, tops, pants, jeans, handbags, belts, and jewelry all woven together with Lorren’s discriminating taste and that personality of hers. There is variety in prices and style at Rocks N Knots.
Lorren and her employees pride themselves on offering a warm and friendly environment in order to make shopping at Rocks N Knots enjoyable for their customers.
