Panda Snack
Panda Snack is the first and only luxury bamboo knit collection available on the market. Our mission is to create a leading lifestyle brand which combines bamboo fiber, innovative product and a contemporary design philosophy. Our focus will begin with men’s and women’s t-shirts and then increase in scope to include intimates, sportswear and even the ever growing denim market. Future line extensions projected are home furnishings, sheets, towels and loungewear. We put the product first. Intelligent design and quality construction are our top priority. But that’s not enough. At Panda Snack, we concern ourselves with every aspect of the process. We work only with manufacturing partners who demonstrate a commitment to environmental protection and fair labor practices.
In an effort to give back some of what has been so freely given to us, we are dedicated to giving back a portion of our profits to environmental and preservation causes. We actively seek projects to participate in and contribute to, literally putting our altruistic philosophy into action. We hope to send a global message through Panda Snack that commerce and social responsibilitiy are interwined.
Deborah Boria, born and raised in Manhattan and Dearrick Knupp, or rural Pennsylvania met while working together in the fashion industry of New York City. Their combined experience includes the categories of sportswear, knitwear, intimates and accessories as well as the fields of licensing, branding and product development. Working with companies such as The Gap, Sakes Fifth Ave, Walt Disney and Donna Karan have helped to prepare them for this exciting endeavor. This city girl and country boy knew that after the very first day together they would one day bring a brand to market. Panda Snack is their combined vision.
